Teri Medo President: Teri Medo

Teri is the branch manager of First Midwest Bank and has over 25 years of banking experience.  She resides in Homer Glen with her husband Nick and her son Ken, a senior at Quincy University majoring in elementary education. Teri enjoys being active within the chamber and her community.  She has served on the expo, golf, nominating and installation committees.  She is a member of the Our Mother of Good Counsel Parish and serves on the Christian Service and Finance Commissions.  She is also current treasurer for the Goodings Grove Lions Club and past treasurer of the Providence Catholic High School Band Parent Association.

Renee is currently a full time Professional Realtor with Coldwell Banker Honig-Bell. This is her 6th year as a full time Realtor. She is also co/owner of Saban's Carpet Care, Inc. (Also a member of HTCC). Prior to becoming a trustee on the Homer Township Chamber Of Commerce, she served several terms as Vice President of the Homer 33-C Parent Teacher Organization. She has been on the HTCC Golf Committe for the past few years and has participated in many HTCC events.

Renee currently lives on Broken Arrow Golf Course in Lockport. Renee's son Adam is a freshman at Colorado School Of Mines in Golden, CO. and her daughter, Michelle is a sophmore at Lockport Townhsip High School.

Wendy has been President and co-owner of Hollingworth Candies, Inc. (specializing in English Toffee) for the past 17 years. Hollingworth Candies has been a member of the HTCC for approximately 10 years and Wendy has previously served on the Directory and Membership Ambassadors committees. She is an active member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Lemont, IL.

Wendy and her husband, Dale, have resided in Homer Glen for 20 years. Their oldest daughter, Aubrey, is a student at Loyola University Chicago, and their younger daughters, Laura and Sarah, attend Lockport Township High School.

Mike Budde is joining the board again after previously serving on the board for eight years.  He has worked on various Chamber committees in the past, including the Golf, Expo, Scholarship, Website, Special Events and Vision Strategy Committees.  Mike has served as President and Treasurer of the Chamber during his previous tenure on the Board.  Mike was awarded Member of the Year in 2007 for his contributions to the Chamber.  He has also been a trustee of the Homer Township Public Library for a number of years, and is currently on the Board of Directors of Sertoma Speech and Hearing Center serving in the capacity of President Elect. 

Mike is the owner of Budde Marketing Systems, Inc., located at 13231 W. 143rd St. in Homer Glen.  His business serves the electronic components industry.  He states that although he has no local business opportunity because his business serves the industrial sector, he views the Chamber as a great place to interface with other businesses.  He uses local business to support his company by utilizing services such as health insurance, banking, printing needs, etc that can be found with other Chamber members.

Margaret Oesterreicher

Margaret Oesterreicher is the Director of Sales & Marketing for Marian Village, a Senior Living Community, part of the Franciscan Communities, located in Homer Glen. The Marian Village offers spacious garden homes as well as independent and assisted living apartments with an all-inclusive lifestyle of comfort and convenience. Marian Village won Franciscan Communities' Legacy Award in 2005 and 2006 for superior operating results. The community is proud of its award-winning commitment to resident satisfaction and fulfillment, as indicated by the responses received from residents in the annual resident satisfaction survey.

Margaret has been actively involved in the Chamber for several years. She has served on the Community Expo, Membership, Bylaws, Honor Card, and Member-to-Member committees.

Margaret and her husband, Carl, have been residents of Homer Glen for the past 10 years. They have two daughters, Rachel and Lisa. Both alums of Lewis University, Rachel, teaches Math at Lockport Twp. High School and Lisa is an Editorial Coordinator for an association management firm in Schaumburg.

Kim is the Director of Development/Public Relations and the LTHS Foundation at Lockport Township High School District 205, which currently serves about 4,000 students.

The LTHS Foundation is a nonprofit organization that was established in 1999 to support and promote the educational programs and activities of students and staff. Over the years, community volunteers have helped by donating their time, energy and financial support to its efforts to acquire materials, services, and educational opportunities beyond those allotted by the school budget. To date, the foundation has awarded more than $800,000 in scholarships to well-deserving students.

Kim and her husband, Gary, live in Homer Glen along with their three children, Brittany, Alyssa and Trevor.

Lynn McGary is a resident of Homer Township since 1977 and has seen many changes.  She began working for the "only bank in town" in 1984.  That was Savings of America on 143rd and Bell Road, a founding member of the Chamber of Commerce.

Rising through the ranks, she became manager of LaSalle Bank (same building) in 2002 and retired in 2009.

Lynn has been active in the Chamber for 12 years, serving on the board and holding the office of secretary in 2001 and 2002, in addition to serving on many committees over the 12 years.

Lynn is proud to be the first "Booster Member" of the Chamber in retirement.

Michelle L Kokaly is a State Farm Agent, located at 140th and Bell Rd in Homer Glen. State Farm offers over 100 products to help you protect all of your assets, both residentially and commercially.  State Farm is the #1 insurer of cars and homes in the US and Canada.  Upon completion of her Master’s Degree at Illinois State University, Michelle began working with State Farm at their Corporate offices.  She has over 11 years of experience with State Farm and opened the office here in Homer Glen on May 1, 2009.  Since opening, Michelle has been actively involved in the Chamber.  She has served on the Expo and Golf Outing committees; in 2010 will be the lead for our new Connections Ambassador program and our Event Planning committee. 

Michelle grew up in Plainfield and is currently a resident in Lockport.

Jeanine Reding is a two-time Past President and Charter Member of the Homer Township Chamber of Commerce.  She has served on many committees and chaired most of them. 

Jeanine is also a Certified Optician and owner of Homer Township Vision Center on 143rd and Golden Oak for over 20 years.  Her office has two optometrists and an ophthalmologist on staff.  The office motto is “Where Quality is Clearly Seen” and she strives to make that happen.    

Jeanine is also an active member of the Goodings Grove Lions Club.  Her office provides eye care to persons in need and also assists in many eye related screenings.

Bill Uznanski, also known as the ‘handsome photographer’, has been a former Homer Chamber board member and has held board positions in artist groups as well as the Lemont Area Historical Society. His wife, Nancy, and he have been enjoying the opportunity to work together and create outstanding professional photography for wonderful people for more than 15 years now.

By using an approach that brings out their clients’ diverse and unique personalities and desires and allows them to participate in the creation of their own fine art photography, Bill and Nancy consistently provide family portrait photography, fantasy photography, boudoir photography and business photography that is both beautiful and meaningful.

They are flexible in their ability to accommodate clients on location or in their cordial home based photography studio. Whatever the type of photography, their goal is to see pure joy in their clients’ faces when they see their finished product.

The time that Nancy and Bill spend with you to understand your desires and compose the setting needed to create your story before a photograph is taken, is the key to their ability to develop your images into special memories.
